Ms Marina Sitnina is an Exeuctive Vice-President of Gazprombank JSC where she works since 2003 and manages the Art Banking department and corporate art collection of the bank. Since 2007 Marina Yurievna is also the General Director of Art Finance LLC, the subsidiary of Gazprombank JSC which has been created to implement the projects at the art market.

 

She has graduated from historical faculty of Moscow State University and Diplomatic Academy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Ms Sitnina was one of the first individuals who started the brokerage activity in Russia having founded in 1992 Intermoney Financial Products, the Russian-Swiss company, rendering the services at the market of conversion operations, and later – at Russian and international securities market.

 

In 2014 according to SPEAR’S Russia magazine Ms Sitnina has been recognized as the art consultant of the year. She was also awarded with “Reputation 2014”, the Russian award among financial specialists in nomination of the “Cultural Initiative” for the exhibition of art objects from corporate art collection of Gazprombank in Albertina museum, Vienna.

 

Ms Sitnina is in the list of the most powerful people in Russian art according to The Art Newspaper Russia. She has more than 30 publications and interviews in specialized, financial and other profile issues of art market, including Kommersant, Forbes, The Art Newspaper Russia, Securities market, Gazprom, TATLER and others.
